Kim Wilford

Kim Wilford is the President and Chairwoman of the GoFundMe Giving Fund, where she oversees the alignment of the organization’s activities with its charitable mission. Under her leadership, the Giving Fund ensures that financial support is delivered securely and efficiently to tax-exempt organizations recommended by its users. Kim’s work is rooted in a deep commitment to philanthropy and social impact, focusing on empowering individuals and communities and facilitating charitable giving.

In addition to her role as Chief Legal Officer of GoFundMe Inc., the strategic partner responsible for providing operational and technical support to the GoFundMe Giving Fund, Kim previously served as Chairwoman of GFM.org. In this capacity, she played a pivotal role in advancing the organization’s charitable initiatives and expanding its impact.

Kim is passionate about social good and has dedicated much of her career to championing causes that make a tangible difference. She holds a B.A. in Political Science, with an International Relations Concentration, from U.C. Santa Barbara and a J.D. from McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific.

Christopher Lamia

Christopher Lamia CFP® has been a Director of the GoFundMe Giving Fund since inception., He began his career in the financial services industry in 1993. In 2008, Chris founded Lamia Financial Group, an independent wealth management firm in Thousand Oaks, California. In November 2018, Lamia Financial Group joined Forum Financial Management and established Forum’s first partner-helmed office in California. He values the deep relationships that have developed over time with many clients.

Chris has been a member of the Thousand Oaks Rotary Club since September 2004. His main responsibilities for the club have been to run the Conejo Valley High School Speakers series and serve on the International Committee. He is a Paul Harris Fellow and member of The Bequest Society of Rotary International. Chris is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. He served as president of the Ventura County chapter of the Financial Planning Association for two terms. Chris graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara with honors, earning a bachelor’s degree in political science. He was a Distinguished Military Graduate from UCSB ROTC, commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant and graduated from the Armor Officer Basic Course as a member of the Commandant’s List.

Samantha Pelosi

As a member of the GoFundMe Giving Fund’s inaugural Board of Directors, Samantha Pelosi contributes her legal and governance expertise to advance the organization’s charitable mission. Samantha is also a Board member of Educate Fairfax, a foundation supporting the public school system of one of the largest counties in the nation, and a Stakeholder Leadership & Governance Institute Fellow at the Stakeholder Impact Foundation. Pelosi has provided legal counsel to dozens of public charities and non-profits, including a large donor advised fund.

Samantha is a legal, compliance, and policy executive in financial services offering almost 30 years of experience. Pelosi currently serves as the CEO of Unconventional Consulting, which she founded in 2023. Samantha has also held senior leadership positions at Guidehouse, the American Bankers Association, the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, the Department of the Treasury (FinCEN), and Travelex/Ruesch. She began her career at global law firm Morrison & Foerster. She holds a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and a B.A. from Duke University.
